After trying Radish Fries for the 1st time yesterday it gave me a few other idea`s !!!
This morning for Breakfast I Just Had The Most AWESOME & Filling Radish Hash Browns !!!
Induction Friendly !!! :)
3oz Shredded Red or White Radishes
1 Large Egg
1 Tablespoon Dry Parmesan Cheese
Mrs Dash Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend to taste
Mix all ingredents well & place in a preheated nonstick frypan with a small amount of oil of your choice in the botton, fry till golden brown on both sides & serve !!!
Calories: 92, Carbs 3.3, Fibre 1.4 = 1.9 Net Carbs, Fat 5.5, Protein 7.5

I used Organic Red Radishes as at my Local Store they were quite a bit larger than the reguler salad one`s in the damp sealed bag & easier to work with !!!

Awesome!!! I can`t wait to try this! I keep trying to cook radish when my husband is home. . .but he always stops me. LOL One of these days I will make it. He will eat whatever I put on the table. . . but I have to get it there.

I just thought you should now I had the hash browns last night. I only had room for two carbs for dinner and it filled the whole nicely.
raddish hasbrowns, country ham, fried egg.

I just tried the Daikon white radish fried with some onion. Yummy yummy yummy...had never even heard of daikon radishes before (and apparently neither had the young man at the checkout as he held it up, blushed profusely and said "WHAT`s THIS???" LOL!!!) Thanks GramyCindi for the suggestion, I have another fav veggie. Pauline.

I love fried radishes! I can`t wait to try this hashbrown recipe! I have not been able to talk my hubbie into trying them. He is a potatoe man. But I told him Sunday morning that I was not going to make them anymore. Because he doesn`t need them.

I love radishes, turnip and rutabaga. What a terrific way to use radishes differently. Sounds great and can,t wait to try it. Thanks Cindi.

Just a reminder that rutabaga (swede) is a higher rung starchy veg. Too bad `cause I love it. Regular turnips (white w/purple tops) are acceptable in all phases though and work well in this recipe. :)

Daikon is great I just grate and cook like hash browns in olive oil and butter!! Really good, better than potato.

Tried this with regular radishes and mozzarella cheese for the nieces and nephews this weekend. They liked it. Not bad for picky eaters.
I grated regular radishes in the processor. It did tend to get watery between batches. I kept draining the juices. May have added too much egg, though.
